Area-Wide Technologies Joins Certeon's Industry-Leading Partner Program, Adding Software Wan Optimization Technology to its Global Product Offering
Flexibility of aCelera Platform from Certeon Increases Sales Opportunities for Area-Wide while Offering 20 Percent Margins through New Partner Program

BURLINGTON, MA, September 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Certeon, the application performance company, today announced a reseller partnership with Area-Wide Technologies, an Illinois-based, full-service business solutions provider. The new partnership allows Area-Wide to resell Certeon's software WAN optimization solution, aCelera, and offer its growing customer base the industry's most flexible and complete WAN optimization solution, even compared to physical appliances, as well as a full suite of virtual appliances, installable Windows software and client software for laptops. The reseller partnership also allows Area-Wide to benefit from Certeon's new partner program, launched in May, which guarantees a 20 percent margin for certified premier resellers.

For companies operating branch offices in remote locations, poor application access is a significant issue. Applications and files that are transferred more slowly across the WAN reduce productivity and prevent the deployment of other application services. Area-Wide found that many of its customers with users accessing centralized applications from remote locations were experiencing performance issues with their applications and services running over sluggish, latency-ridden connections. With Certeon's aCelera platform, Area-Wide was not only able to turn its customers' remote T1 lines into application-ready links, but it also opened other sales opportunities as a result of the platform's ability to meet every use case enterprises encounter, including servers, mobile users, and even remote offices that only have Windows installed.
