The TEAL Integration Framework is the newest product addition to Intelliware's e-Health Interoperability Suite.

The TEAL Integration Framework provides HL7 v3 message capability to e-Health applications and simplifies the sending of HL7 v3 messages. As a bolt-on tool to existing e-Health applications, TEAL accelerates connection and conformance to the Infoway HIAL while protecting investments made in current applications. Application developers simply provide the TEAL Integration Framework with the necessary business information. TEAL manages the complexity of the HL7 v3 messages and XML code behind the scenes. It also assists programmers and message architects by providing extensive, contextual documentation about HL7 v3 messages, data types and terminology.

The TEAL Integration Framework reduces the need for application developers to modify their application for every jurisdictional implementation or specification version change. Developers interact with the model using business concepts and names, minimizing the need for application changes when new specification versions are released, or for use in jurisdictions using different versions of the pan-Canadian Standards. This significantly reduces application development and maintenance costs going forward.
